It's been a little over a month since my last blog; I suck.  I had fully intended to do some shorter entrees in some of the many locales visited since leaving on the Spring leg of the 2015 All Out Tour, but connectivity and plain busy schedules left that plan gasping on the highway.  I promise to do better for the Summer leg of tour.

Speaking of which, that leg has officially begun with the Florida Folk Festival this past Memorial Day Weekend and what a BLAST it all was!  Besides playing for the kids in the children's area and on the famous Old Marble Stage, I also got to open for The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on the Amphitheater stage Saturday night and jammed with my friend Michelle Dalziel during my set on the Heritage Stage Sunday afternoon.  It was a great weekend of music in a beautiful location (Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park) and I didn't even face-plant this time (if you don't know the story, then I'll leave you to search the internets for what it's all about.)

Since being home, I've had exactly two days to hang out with Jae and we've maximized our time together by taking a champagne flight on the brand new Orlando Eye on International Drive and sampling some local eats as well as going to see "Tomorrowland" on Memorial Day and then sampling even more local eats.  I love spending time with her and these are precious moments since I'll be hitting the road for three months after I get back from Oregon next week.

Ah yes, Oregon.  I'm heading there for the Columbia River Gorge Dulcimer Festival tomorrow and will be in the Portland area through this coming Sunday; first gig in Oregon, so I'm looking forward to an exciting new experience!

And I promise to blog. I'll have plenty of time, sitting in airports, that's for sure. (I hate flying.)

Have a great week and be sure to check my schedule for newly added shows - I'm more than likely going to be passing through your neck of the woods soon!
