With the forecast calling for a day of rain, Jae and I struck camp in Lebanon, TN and headed to Nashville for lunch at Arnold's Meat & 3 in The Gulch; another "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" visit that proved to be pretty good.  It was also a lesson in parking a 32' RV in a tiny, cramped parking lot.  Everyone should do it at least once.

Can honestly say that I've never seen *this* as I arrived at a campground.

Can honestly say that I've never seen *this* as I arrived at a campground.

We picked up groceries in Jackson and then continued on into Memphis where we ate dinner at Osaka Japanese Fusion and made the decision to camp for the evening at Graceland RV Park.  I'm pretty sure Elvis Presley never lived across the street from a campground, but that didn't make it any less kitschy and cool.  Since I've never been to Graceland, we decided that Tuesday would be the perfect opportunity to change that.

And I'm strumming Elvis tunes on the ukulele - seems appropriate, right?

Each evening has become a chill-out and planning session as we have a look at the map and see where we'd like to wander next.  With severe storms creeping in our direction, the planning for Day 14 involved a certain amount of speculation about storm-dodging.  Sort of the theme of my on-the-road life.

Nice little giggle, here.
