Join Bing Futch in Springfield on September 27th for an afternoon of music, growth, and fun! In this supportive workshop, you’ll get personalized feedback on your playing (or just listen and learn), join a relaxed community jam, and enjoy a mini-concert to close things out. No pressure, just music-making in a kind and encouraging space. $25 per person.
Schedule
1:45–2:00 — Welcome + Warm-Up
Light stretch/picking patterns, simple groove to settle in.
2:00–3:00 — Guided Feedback Workshop (60 min)
Short turns (about 2–3 min each).
Choose your lane:
• Play Solo
• Play With a Buddy/Backtrack
• Listen-Only (still get take-home tips)
Feedback focuses on tone, timing, touch, with 1–2 concrete “next steps” per player.
Optional: write your question on a card if you’d rather not speak.
3:15–4:00 — Community Jam (45 min)
Low-pressure, call-and-response style.
4:00–4:30 — Mini-Concert (30 min)
A short set from Bing to tie the learning together—arranging ideas in action.
What to bring
Instrument, tuner, capo (if you use one), and a simple tune you’re comfy with.
Optional: music stand, notebook/pen, tablet for charts.
