PDQ PDF

Today, I'm rushing around trying to finalize many things before lifting off in the big silver bird tomorrow bound for Folkcraft Instruments.

As is usually the case, I'm putting together the workshop handouts at the last minute, because nothing inspires like the 11th hour.  For whatever reason, Adobe Acrobat was nowhere to be found on my desktop and I didn't have a licensed copy anywhere to install.  There was an immediate need to take several different PDF files and combine them all into one PDF so that the printing process went as smoothly as possible for Nicholas Young, Folkcraft's all around MVP of operations.

This is usually where a quick search involving the search terms "mac" and "free" come into play and, after a few dead-ends, I happened upon a nifty little site called Small PDF.

With an uncluttered, elegant user interface and a simple drag-and-drop premise, I was able to bundle my files without having to download anything but the finished file.  I even managed to assemble an 86-page book using the app; all for free.  Donations for "cups of coffee" are gratefully accepted and I think it's a small price to pay for such a handy-dandy service.

Do any of you have favorite sites like this that make your life easier?
