Well, whaddya think?

I've been a code monkey for a long time now, since the days of working for Prodigy Classic and Prodigy Internet as a content producer.  But old habits die hard and I was still messing around with Dreamweaver templates for the web site and just running into all manner of crap every time I went to do an update.  The days of HTML 3.0 are long gone and when CSS appeared on the scene, my eyes began to cross and I knew that my days of tweaking pages by hand were definitely coming to an end.

So, thanks to Katie Moritz, I've taken the plunge and have decided to go with Squarespace for my web site and all-inclusive social media launching pages.  Whaddya think?  Is it working for you?

One of the things I like the most is that my site will now be optimized for smart phones and such, not to mention that I'll actually be able to update the damn thing straight from my phone.  I also like the WYSIWYG interface and it's a hell of a lot more user-friendly than Dreamweaver.  So, there was no kicking and screaming as I was dragged into the 21st century of web design. Chances are that I'll somehow find a way to integrate the Nowhere blog into this, but them chances are slim, given that there are so many links to some of those pages and that blog's been going now for a good long time.  I don't know what I'll do with it  It's a pain in the ass, really.

Anywhoo - please feel free to leave me some feedback here and tell me what you think of the new site design.  I did it myself.  Heh.
